Fatal Jealousy Cover

It’s finally here!!! The books cover to my next book Fatal Jealousy is finally out!!

Thank you Viola and 5 Prince family for helping making it work.Blurb for Fatal Jealousy:

Twins Ellsa and Ellie are completely different in character, personality, taste and interests. Apart from the striking resemblance to each other, they share the one thing siblings shouldn’t…. the same taste in men.

They keep falling for the same man, creating a quiet rivalry between them. Determined not to let a man come between them ever again, Ellie and Ellsa agree to stay away from each others relationships. But when they meet Dale Carson, an FBI agent and a bachelor, their love lives are turned upside down.

But they aren’t the only ones taken by the rogue. His partner and long time lover, Gwen Johansson, also called dibs.

Carson is interested in only one of them. He is pulled by Ellie’s passion for love and art, and most importantly, him. What starts as a sexual chase, ends with his permanent retirement from bachelorhood.

But their love story is not a smooth one.

Carson’s day job comes knocking on his front door and before he knows it, his whole world is ripped apart.

Out of all the possible suspects, Ellie has the most evidence stacked up against her. She is implicated in the brutal murders of her ex-boyfriends, and Carson is faced with the horror of arresting the love of his life. With two suspects of his own, he is convinced she is being set up, but he has no way of proving it.

A glimmer of hope arrives in a letter from the grave promising a happier existence. Cassandra stands to inherit over half a million dollars if she can live in the sleepy little town of Nantahala for six months. Falling in love, however, was not part of the deal, and without warning, she finds herself fighting for two lives.
A man with a traumatic past is able to turn his life around and is happy with his chosen career as a whitewater guide. Everything changes though when fate hurls a woman into his path. His carefree life is in turmoil, and his former weaknesses threaten to overtake him. Will he be strong enough when tragedy strikes and is once again in danger of losing everything he loves?
Bio
While I do not write “Christian” books, I do share my characters’ Christian beliefs. My characters are real people who come with real flaws; no perfect people allowed.

I characterize my stories as modern-day fairytales, as they are overflowing with romance, mystery, suspense, and of course, tragedy. After all, what would a fairytale be without a tragic event setting the stage? All of my novels are sensual, but not erotic, gripping but not graphic and will hopefully make you cry, laugh, love, and hope.

Both of my published novels, She Belongs to Meand Land of the Noonday Sun, have reached bestseller status right alongside Nicholas Sparks, J.D. Robb, and other great authors. My third novel, Entangled Dreams, will be releasde soon.

I love talking about all things books, so please connect with me via one of the links below.

Book Review UNDERNEATH

Hi. I got this book, UNDERNEATH BY MICHAEL CARGILL to review from GoodReads and thought I should share it with you. if you’ve always wondered what goes on in a psychopath’s mind, this is the book to give you that experience.

Description

Look at the person sitting just across from you. It doesn’t matter whether they’re a loved one, a friend, or a complete stranger.

Now look at their face. Are they happy? Are they sad? Or are they angry? Can you even tell?

How well do you actually know the people closest to you?

Have you ever seen the real person that lies just underneath what you see…?

Here are two reviews from Smashwords that will inspire you to read this psychological thriller

‘Ok I’ll try this again…
What a terrifying premise. An anger management failure, psycho, with what seems like memory loss, he can’t even remember why he walks from one room to another let alone why one thing set him off 5 seconds ago.
This is not someone you would want to cross paths with, EVER!
This took a bit to get into but, once we are introduced to the 2 ” coppers” who investigate the swath of destruction left in his wake, Angela the college student who thinks she is in love, and Jane, the mom who is convinced that her missing son has been kidnapped the richly woven threads of this tale take a decidedly even more dastardly turn.
I loved the way this just descended into a black comedy of stalking, insanity and murder most foul, body dumping optional!’

‘Hugh seems like your average hardworking man that is polite, takes care of himself, and goes to the gym to workout. Hugh seems to blend into the crowd unnoticed which suits him just fine. Constables Clare and Robert are hardworking police officers that are working on seemingly unrelated cases at the grocery store, local college, and missing teenage boy. Abigal meets Hugh on the train and the two meet up for drinks. Abigal briefly sees something lurking behind Hugh’s eyes then thinks she imagined it. Abigal and Hugh become close which pleases Hugh. Constables Clare and Robert get a surprising lead from missing teenage boy’s friend that he and his friends hang out at an apartment building. The boy says that a creepy guy chases them off. Will Abigal figure out what Hugh is hiding? Will Constables Clare and Robert solve their cases? Where does Hugh fit into all of this? Do you know what is lurking Underneath?’

The book is available on Smashwords and if you are interested I have 10 copies to give away. just write down your name and email on my comment section.

I SMELL DEAD PEOPLE

William Stadler

HOW TO INCORPORATE THE FIFTH SENSE INTO YOUR WORK

Whenever writers describe a scene, we tend to forget one important factor. I know I do. I have trouble describing this one element that has a greater sense of nostalgia and connection than any others.

What am I referring to? It’s the sense of smell. How often do we incorporate odors and aromas into our writing? Not as much as we should. Yet, it’s the one element, in real life, with which we make the best connection. Think about it.

Love Forever After Poem – Candle Light

Candle Light…

With the sun gone and the nights dawn,

I fear the darkness.

Grasping for hope, grasping for light where there is none,

I wander in the darkness.

A hole in my core, a leak in my essence,

I bath in the darkness.

Waiting for that moment to come,

Waiting for the pained peace to settle with the dust,

No longer waiting for that sweet song,

I cherish the darkness!

I am one with the darkness,

I am reborn in the darkness!

But then…. like a train from a far,

A gentle light…. a threatening light….

Like a breath of new life….

Comes the candle light.

Author Spotlight no.86 – Kathryn Jones

Morgen 'with an e' Bailey

Complementing my daily blog interviews, today’s Author Spotlight, the eighty-sixth, is of Christian and cozy mystery author Kathryn Jones.

Kathryn has been a published writer since 1987. She has published various newspaper stories, magazine articles, essays and short stories for teens and adults.  She is the author of: “A River of Stones”, a young adult fiction novel dealing with divorce published in 2002, and “Conquering your Goliaths—A Parable of the Five Stones”, a Christian novel published in January of 2012. Her newest creation, a “Conquering your Goliaths—Guidebook”, was published in February of 2012.

And now from the author herself:

I used to believe in writer’s block. It was a good excuse for not writing; kind of like the excuse I gave (and still give) for neglecting to mop my floors. I hate to mop floors because it takes so much time, and I…

REVIEW: Born Wicked

Read and Reviewed

Born Wicked (Cahill Witch Chronicles #1)
by Jessica Spotswood

G.P. Putnam’s Sons, 2012
[Goodreads | Amazon

Everybody knows Cate Cahill and her sisters are eccentric. Too pretty, too reclusive, and far too educated for their own good. But the truth is even worse: they’re witches. And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship—or an early grave.

Before her mother died, Cate promised to protect her sisters. But with only six months left to choose between marriage and the Sisterhood, she might not be able to keep her word… especially after she finds her mother’s diary, uncovering a secret that could spell her family’s destruction. Desperate to find alternatives to their fate, Cate starts scouring banned books and questioning rebellious new friends, all while juggling tea parties, shocking marriage proposals, and a forbidden romance with the…
